YOU WILL COVER
Inspiration – Finding a style and looking for an aesthetic when shooting.
Shooting Candidly – We will be shooting totally candidly. The true essence of street storytelling.
Beating the Fear – Kevin will show you how he shoots with his X100F and X-Pro2 to allow him to totally blend in to the areas around him.
Understand your Camera Fully – Kevin will explain exactly how hesets his cameras up, Including JPEG settings and how the use of Custom Settings can be a game changer in the fast moving streets.
Understanding Zone Focusing – Zone focusing sounds confusing, but actually its very easy and is the gateway to great candid photography.
Getting in close to shoot stories & Street Themes – by utilising small projects throughout the day, Kevin will guide you through the use of the camera to empower you to really enjoy your street photography.
We will concentrate on building pictures and stories using the sound principles of; Light, Composition and Moment.
This is a practical Hands-on Street Photography Workshop withplenty of time for one to one tuition as well as shooting time throughout the day.
After a briefing in a coffee shop we will head straight out onto the streets with our cameras.
We’ll stop for a short lunch, but the emphasis will be on short, achievable projects giving you the time to build your Street Photography experience based on the idea of “Observing”.
Shooting will finish around 3pm, where we will then find a coffee shop or a bar and Kevin will show you how he edits some of his images in both colour and black and white. We’ll wrap up fully around 4pm but if anybody wants to stay around longer for a drink or more photography chat then we will do so.
