Hands-on experience with the Fujifilm X-T3 plus our range of lenses
Each year, for about three weeks in August, parts of the Peak District are transformed into a riot of purple and pink colour when the heather bursts into bloom. It really is a sight to behold and this workshop is designed to help you make the most of it capturing some stunning images and to better understand your Fujifilm system.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Chris will be providing expert group and individual tuition on using your Fujifilm equipment including:
- How to set up your camera for Landscape photography
- Reading and understanding light
- Exposure & how to meter light accurately.
- How to focus to achieve front to back sharpness
- How to improve your compositional skills adding impact to your images
- Understand and using fliters v exposure bracketing
- Creative techniques such as ICM and Multiple Exposure
- Adopting a Landscape photography workflow
Our small group size allows participants to receive some valuable one-to-one tuition and coaching from Chris and the team.
In order to make the most of the better light in the late afternoon and evening we will meet at 12.30pm , have an initial chat over a coffee before heading out for the rest of the day. We will have a break late
afternoon and shoot through to sunset finishing around 8.30pm. We will visit two or three locations giving us a range of fabulous views and photographic potential including wide sweeping vistas,
impressive grit stone edges and more intimate scenes that capture the true magic of the area at this time of year.
3/5 A reasonable level of fitness and mobility is required. There are some short, steep paths, uneven ground, moss covered rocks and tree roots to negotiate, although we won’t be walking long distances.
