Accessibility

Fujifilm is committed to making its websites accessible to all Internet users and to meeting the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.

What is Accessibility?
Accessibility is about designing a website to ensure that its content is available to the maximum number of visitors, including people with disabilities, regardless of the technology they are using. The five main types of disability which affect Internet usage are:

  • Visual impairments
  • Hearing impairments
  • Mobility impairments
  • Cognitive impairments
  • Seizure disorders

Fujifilm  intends to update its websites over time to UK Government, RNIB, and W3C Standards, and incorporate features to ensure that every visitor can access information (including providing alternative text descriptions, using simple and intuitive site navigation, labelling elements clearly, and producing logical page structures).

Over the next few months we will be actively working to identify which areas we need to address and this statement will be updated with any actions taken to improve accessibility of the Fujifilm website.

We are very open to suggestions for improvement across our website. If you have any specific areas of concern please send your comments to webmaster@fuji.co.uk
